Well said Mateo. Putting it on the wishlist, as a priority, but it still going to have to wait after the crazyness that october will be for the wallet.

Oh man....CONTAGION is an absolute banger, all over that like white on rice.

Don't get your hopes up for the sleeve art however. Just sayin'.

I like the Predator cover so that's something. And, hey, at least it's not an Enjoy The Ride joint.

According to a PDF I found on the Real Gone site the sleeve is the same as the CD (So no horrible Cujo repeat)

Also says limited to 1200 copies, regular weight vinyl, with gatefold sleeve

did anyone else see that new edition of the Frizzi /Cipriani Pieces score? seems to be a new reissue label called Arrow. never heard of it before and after looking for it i found out they are a distributor of cult, horror, classic and world cinema on DVD & blu-ray. strangely the Pieces vinyl does not appear on their homepage. looks really nice compared to the WRWTFWW boot which i can't stand.

https://www.discogs.com/Stelvio-Ciprian ... e/10577881

they sell it over at Zavvi for 27,99 €, limited to 500 copies...
apparently it has a nice gatefold sleeve, OBI and liner notes.

if anyone has purchased this please let me know about sound quality....

on a side note, here is some good information on the movie itself:

The Green Line by Gilroy Mere

New pre-order on Clay Pipe records. Green vinyl, 500 numbered copies. Looks and sounds pretty awesome. I snagged one from Norman Records UK since they have amazing rates for international shipping.

:D

I'm crazy about all these anime records but gotta say as a child I always hated this show.
I always flicked over to the other channel when it was on and only remember the end credits from waiting for it to finish :D so technically didn't really see it.

I'll probably watch it now and be like, 'it's the best show ever!'

I see its by 'Shuki Levi' who did He-Man.
I think the og has an alternate Japanese score. I know it usually carries I heavy price for a Japanese og LP.

@Dollar -

Woo, that's all v. complex - all I remember is the theme in the version screened in the UK was soooo badass!

I have OGs of the first two Serra and (now) a really expensive version of 5th Element from Mondo. Dammit!

I had the Serra OGs for Subway and Le Grand Bleu but got rid of them, I couldn't get into them. I had the impression that he's a little bit all over the place from one track to another, and none of them particularly stood out for me... I even almost passed on Waxwork's Leon the professional, but found it on sale recently and decided to get it, mostly to complete my Waxwork collection, but also because Leon is a more focused soundtrack, flows better than the other Serra soundtracks I've listened to.

I'm going to get the 5th Element, at some point too, mostly because I like the movie, but I can't remember much of the score except for a couple of great cues. My wallet says to go with that FNAC one which is probably going to be a lot cheaper, but the Mondo artwork is WAY better. I mean, that FNAC release's cover is pretty bad, no ? not bad enough to say it's terrible, but just uninspired and bland, very generic.

Now SOLD OUT at Clay Pipe and Norman. Transmission has at least one copy, but the "Low Stock" badge is there.

It's on Amazon too: LINK

10 euros only?? It's either a mistake or they're actually releasing the 7" and not the full soundtrack.

Yeah I noticed that - think you're right, probably just 7" of the main theme.

Ooohh....since it's French release it looks like it'll be the French version, which is top cool!

But THIS is the Shuki Levi Euro-disco-synth badassery that I remember so fondly....
