Predator was down to £40 on Amazon the other day – prices fluctuate on there so much it's worth making a wishlist to keep track of things

It's still available at SoundStage Direct with a 20% discount for any USA buyers.

Hot Fuzz is up at Norman. I wish Edgar Wright was king of the world instead of trump. He'd know how to handle zombies from freakshow hillbilly land

The cover art for Cujo is posted at SoundStage Direct. I'll have to drop on this one at some point. Some great releases coming from Real Gone lately; I haven't picked up a bad pressing from them.

Weird that they used the DVD cover art (which is essentially the cross-eyed doggy collage version of floating heads) instead of using the iconic poster/VHS art which I still find pretty ominous to this day. Still, I like it better than a lot of other, new covers i've seen lately.

PPS - I have never seen Cujo in its entirety.

That's good to hear. I believe Predator will be my first purchase from that label. I am not sure if all these photos were up on their site before, but here are both variants and the LP sleeve:

@Mateo-I like that original cover too. I think the last time I viewed that cover was on a Warner Bros Clam Shell VHS at my local video store in high school. I haven't seen this film in a very long time. Thanks for posting that one.

@deaf-I have three Real Gone releases(Return of the living Dead, Escape from L.A., and True Romance) all of them are very nice pressings. I have Predator on the way too. I'm looking forward to this release from them.

Is that going to be on Sacred Bones?

It's just on JC's Bandcamp at the minute, but I suspect there will be a physical release on Sacred Bones. It's like an album of the Redux tracks, which we speculated recently might be in the works, after JC posted online looking for a Christine car for a music video.

Is it safe to assume the Deluxe Limited Edition also comes with the alternate screen-printed wrap around sleeve since it's wax sealed?

edit: ordered regardless

I'd say yes. I like the sound of the deluxe, but I can't justify 3x the price for 2 extra tracks and a much nicer package. Interestingly, their email says there's a 'Christine' red variant of the deluxe for non-US stores, so might pick it up in the UK. Also a US store and tour only variant of the deluxe. That's right, a new tour too (US only at the minute).

Thanks. And ah just saw the email now. It had gone to my junk folder :shakes fist:

3000 sounds like a large enough amount to get a hold of one & save on shipping at the same time. You should be good with the "Christine" variant.

Agree with you there @Bub. It doesn't say so in the email, but I suspect the deluxe variant for shops includes the 7", but perhaps not the screen print, art cards, etc. I'll be happy enough with that. Wish their downloads were flac and not mp3 though (always complaining!).

***Deluxe Limited Edition Version: Edition of 500 hand-numbered copies, comes with 7" including the themes "March of the Children (Village of the Damned)" and "Body Bags," "Halloween Orange" colored vinyl exclusive to mail-order, a full set of 13 7"x7" prints by Chris Bilheimer featuring new art for the 13 themes on the album, wax sealed, and available by mail-order only. ONE PER PERSON LIMIT.*
I read this as prints only with this release.

Transmission also has a variant for sale. A lot cheaper. But probably also a deluxe version.

Was Sacred Bones the only place to get that bonus 7"? Because now it is sold out and that is a real bummer. I shelled out for four of the thirteen tracks already on the two Redux 12s from last year and I'll be bummed to pay for redundancy and miss out on Body Bags and CotD.

PS - Also really bummed to see that there won't be any PNW coverage on the upcoming JC Fall tour. Not sure I can justify a trip to SF or LA just for that show. Bah humbug!

PPS - I am, however, very glad that JC is recording more. It just feels right that he's still out there creating.
