Nice spins JR and I see that you recently revisited Audition. 10-15 years ago I bought some Miike DVD's and loved Audition. Need to dig them up from a box somewhere. Visitor Q probably left the biggest mark in my memory.

Your friend isn't wrong. In overseas markets, the Golan Globus films Breakin and Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo were released as Breakdance 1 & 2. Rappin was an attempt by Cannon to recapture some of those earlier films' success with a "rawer" edge. It didn't work, but Breakdance 3 was born.

I revisited it because the Faculty of Horror podcast recently did a show on it and I thought I'd revisit. it's exquisite in every sense of the word. So tender and violent.

Boogeyman is a must-have. Such a good soundtrack and one of my favorite Main theme. I was spinning this earlier and then went to the post office to get these new additions to my collection :

The Beast in Space. Strange release, a bit eclectic in mood, from one song to another. I like it.

I couldn't let go. I tried to control everything. I didn't do the sacrifice.
So.... this release sounds good. I remember listening to a youtube stream of this soundtrack and I wasn't into it as much as now. I think it's quite nice. The movie itself is still more of a favorite for me than it's score, but I enjoy this more than I thought I would.

Last one tonight. I haven't sat down and really listened to this with the attention it deserves yet, so, time to give it a real spin.

Some great looking spins tonight, Nathan. I'm looking forward to receiving Beast In Space and Salem's Lot is a recent favorite.

Nathan - How does OWS Boogeyman version sound? I loved the look of the package design...always tempted to get that version.

I can't remember why I have this prop from that movie

I listened to a buttload of albums today:

The Fog
Twins of Evil
Watchmen
Chopping Mall (which came in the post today)
Battle Beyond the Stars
The Black Hole

and non-soundtrackery included Farewell Auntie Jack by Auntie Jack and Portishead's 'Dummy'.

I've waited a long time for a vinyl release of this. Now if someone would just release Legends of the Fall on vinyl.

It sounds, to my ears, the same as the MotionSound version from 2014. It's the same source material used for the Motionsound and the OWS release. The OWS has a gatefold cover though, so there's that. I'd recommend either editions.
