I picked this one up today. Not a RSD17 release but it was long overdue for an expanded vinyl release. On purdy blue vinyl no less. :)

No pictures, but today after coming home I started with the moondog reissue, followed by link wray's beans and fatback (also issued today for RSD) then finally got a chance to sit down and give waxwork's thing reissue a nice good listen....I know some people had issues but my Deluxe sounds clean and rich to my ears. I'm thinking mondo scanners next, now that I'm in this headspace.

What a fascinating story, and brilliant music. Quite a bit is very reminiscent of Goldsmith's 'Planet of the Apes', and both were composed at around the same time strangely! However, there's not much of it I can personally imagine working in the final film. Who knows eh? I need to grab a copy and attempt the sync-up which the sleeve notes suggest...amazing package from Mondo anyhow, and the design by Jay Shaw is a stunner.
