Nice one, Bub. Thanks for that. So this looks to be the same track listing as the deluxe expanded score from the La La Land 2012 CD release.

You're welcome, Mateo! Thankfully it is expanded so it's a no brainer. Otherwise I would have some hard thinking to do.

I'm with you lads and will be getting this. I love the original presentation, too, but I do want this extra material on wax. I don't think I've heard any La La Land vinyl before; anyone know anything about their pressings? General quality or where they press their records?

Oh. Hells. To. The. Yesss!

I have their release of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and it's an absolute beaut. They're not the cheapest releases,
but you can see where the money goes.

Buy with confidence, Enterprise bridge crew!

Scottie sez: "You CAN take it!!"

That is great news.

PS - Maybe don't get locked into a staring contest with the above gif while listening to JD Emannuel's Rain Forest Music. Just sayin'. #protip

The new batch of Spettro library albums is now up for sale. So far, though, no sign of the OSTs.

Soundohm has a bundle in both colour:

http://www.soundohm.com/product/spettro ... pid/28968/

And black:

http://www.soundohm.com/product/spettro ... pid/28962/

Or you can get them direct from the label here, where there are more sound samples:

http://www.tannenrecords.com/prodotto/l ... ollection/

While the artwork aesthetic of these is completely different than the first batch, they look pretty damn stunning. And nothing says "buy me all" like a discounted bundle. Sounds-wise, these are definitely a bit more out there, but (I think) in a good way. Much more electronic in nature.

Dirty secret: I don't really care for most Elfman scores. I do, however, like Batman. I will probably end up with both the Prince and the Elfman LPs. I have a lot of fondness for Burton's Batman films and am looking forward to what Mondo comes up with for the packaging.

But still nah, that doesn't really do it for me at all.

I think beetlejuice is still my favorite elfman score, I'd love for mondo to do a remastered expanded release for that. Maybe with the burton bats on the horizon that might be none too far behind.
