Dead Again - Patrick Doyle
Varèse Sarabande ‎– VS-5339
1991
I think this can still be found relatively cheap, $10-$15.
Worth it!

I need to pick that up one day, was listening to it on my commute the other day, great score from my favorite goldsmith period.

My week of PTO begins with this gem. I've never seen Freud so the movie that comes to mind when listening is Alien. It's classic Goldsmith. Maybe it's the fact that this is a mono recording but it feels like something he wrote for a Twilight Zone episode. Recommended for any JG fan.

U2 ‎– Achtung Baby
Island Records ‎– 314-510 347-1
1991
This is the one that pulled me in. Up until this album I had pretty much dismissed U2.

Quite correct @tim. I hear a lot of praise for The Joshua Tree, but for me, U2 were never more relevant than the early 90s. They were on top of the world, and no one saw it coming. I regret never getting to see them on those early 90s tours. I still regularly listen to Achtung Baby (albeit on a silver disc!).

I can remember seeing this in the theaters and how the music for It's A Good Life and Nightmare At 20,000 Feet (basically side 2 of this LP) were stand outs for me.
Jennifer Warnes on Nights Are Forever is nice too.
Jerry Goldsmith ‎– Twilight Zone - The Movie

This wasn't the album that brought me to APP, that would be Turn Of A Friendly Card. But I do think this may be the best thing they did.
The Alan Parsons Project ‎– Tales Of Mystery And Imagination
Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab ‎– MFSL 1-204
