If you use one of the 12" card package boards as a "backing board" support in a 400gm poly, record in a rice inner, you can even include the pvc with those pesky graphics, stickers behind the board. 3x board, one sentence.

thats typically what i do, not concerned about looking at it since it in a sea of other vinyl. though when i pull picture discs out and only see the graphic through the center whole, it can take me a few seconds to figure it out.

case in point, seeing ScarJo's Bum on the Lost in translation picture disc.

So someone online has just posted this pick of the Dw escape from New York sleeve and I don't for the life of me remember it getting a reissue with the full size art , have I just gone crazy ? There's no listing on Discogs I can see of the sleeve . I remember spencer had plans to do all of them from sub 1 and was gonna offer us sleeves but nothing seemed to come from that and I thought it never happened. Maybe . I have the prince of darkness , zombi (with deifferent art) halloweens and they live with the dw***R treatment but am I missing this as well ?

I don't remember that either, Scotty, but I do remember the talk of deluxe replacement sleeves with full bleed artwork. Like you, I thought I bought all of the remasters with the new artwork. I don't recall an EFNY. Interesting.

Wait? so what is this? i've never seen or heard of this before. I remember when EFNY was supposed to get that treatment but they never appeared. Like @Mateo, got the others when they dropped.

What to say about this?? I think it mirrors the film in many ways, and in that the packaging design reflects this. It is a visual and stylistic counterpoint to the show-- darker, moodier, without cheeky references to donuts and coffee and without Cooper's chipper demeanor. The white and black jackets for the white/black lodges.

I'm glad to have seen the Alamo film screening. It gives a slimy, awful clarity to the series and says overtly what was always bubbling under the surface of the show--Laura was sexually abused for years and eventually murdered by her own father. I'd also forgotten how much of a true horror movie it is especially towards the end.

The score works as a standalone piece. The mastering is excellent. I may need to swap out this copy, though, as two of the sides are pressed a little off-center. It's especially noticeable because of the piano and string orchestration. They pressed a ton of copies, so I'm sure most are not affected.

Very good news!
And with Faces of Death, Porno Holocaust, Bay of Blood and Death Walks On High Heels this is going to be a cracker DWRC year! (yes, I finally looked at the back of the obi on The Case Of The Scorpion's Tail)

I can barely look at the plain(ish) VHS box without feeling a sense of creeping dread.

Faces of Death had music? I just remember the really cheesy mutant leech and the nurse gettting the screwdriver in the neck I think....wasn't there a part were a dude gets his leg crushed by a car he was trying to get a part off?

Contraband is up along with Pentagram Home Video's new record, some more (new?) copies of Over the Garden Wall, and a VGM score for Dear Esther. I'm only in it for the Frizzi myself today though the PHV is also a killer. Anyone else?

I went for the Frizzi, added Southbound and Twin Peaks FWWM to catch up.
I passed on the Pentagram Home Video, because I can't keep up anymore on all the releases. Maybe I'll pick up a copy if I ever can get a breather. I like the previous DWO release from PHV so I'd be interested. but budget-wise, I can't be a DWO completist anymore.
