Just received Luke Cage and it's perfect, been on repeat. I have no attachment to the show or Marvel stuff but I'm a big fan of the two musicians, can't get enough of the jams.

Edit: Has anyone listened to a copy of the Le Matos reissue? Mine's tied up with a Panzer Dragoon order, but I'm eager to hear that glorious music in person.

Is this up in error? Says the splatter is sold out but a "day/night" split in stock. No sign of the black vinyl for the first release either.

I believe that the splatter will go up tomorrow as planned, but this split/1000? was an early bonus.

Ordered the Castlevania II (as well as the Castlevania I repress...) right around the time it went up for sale. I could have sworn I put the " night/day"split vinyl in my cart but looking at my receipt now it looks like I ordered the splatter...weird. I'm ok with either..Simon's Quest was one of my favorite games/scores on the NES and I'm curious as to what this Famicom version is all about..

And what does the acronym BMG stand for? As in.."Featuring both the NES and FAMICOM versions of all 9 BMG tracks from the game."

I believe this is a typo for BGM (background music). The acronym is used often in regard to Japanese video game soundtracks.

Sound is really good on this one. Two little suggestions... if it's cut 45 RPM (as this one is) I wish they would put that somewhere on the release, even if it's just on the OBI. And I always like being able to tell what side is A/B or C/D without having to squint at the deadwax matrix. Otherwise it's stellar, we really enjoyed this movie, and it has a decent soundtrack esp. the Guitar Gently Weeps cover.

The first Castlevania 10" black vinyl is in stock at retail distros again: LitA, 2HD, Norman's, etc. It's sold out on mondotees.com. Personally, I think the black wax looks sharp with the art design. I'm not sure if it's a repress, but the titles seems to be very popular. Looking forward to hearing more of this series, especially Symphony of the Night., and would still like to see a 10" shelf box to put them all in...

well, if they keep going in order...remind me, 3, super 4, Rondo/Dracula X (if they even do that one, i can't recall), and then Symphony of the night?

Just looked up the press release, 3, 4, and SOTN left.

Poor Rondo of blood, so little love

I wonder if entering the Konami Code will get me 30% off at checkout?

OK I admit it, I really tried to beat it on Hard, but I couldn't get past the level 5 boss. So I can only post a pic of beating it on Normal.

I am not sure if depressed is the right word, but I would love it if they had some reward system for loyal customers :-)

You're nearly there, JGibbs! Just one more step. Watch out, though, it's a doozy...
