Don't Go in the House was not bad at all. Nothing like I was expecting. I hadn't read any synopsis and didn't know anything about it.
Richard Einhorn's score had some generic parts, but also some excellent parts with one bit standing out even more. And a lot of disco!
Will Waxwork release this? We will see...

Love those original Italian giallo and polizei film posters - artwork always grabs you by the throat.

I may be wrong, but it doesn't seem like the score to 'Short Night of Glass Dolls' has been released on vinyl, even though it's by the maestro Morricone..?

it has not been released on vinyl previously. i inquired about it earlier this year. but never heard back from them.

Funny isn't it; you'd have thought the stash of Morricone scores ripe for issue or re-issue had been well and truly plundered by now, then you stumble across a gem like this. All part of the fun of being a music & movies fan.

Ha - went to see that one last week at the Barbican in London - Cigarette Burns was showing a big screen print. Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright and various media types in the audience.

Though sumptuous to look at in places, found it a bit slow by modern standards - like a lot of giallos I end up almost dozing off in the third act, before snapping to attention at the abrupt finish. It is supposed to be one of the classics however so perhaps I need to give it another watch - and, like you say, cool score, like so many films of this genre! :)

Love the colours, design and camerashots in this one. And really need to get this score. It is really good. The ending reminded me of Umberto Lenzi's Orgasmo (Paranioa in the US) from a year earlier, however this time with a happier ending.
It isn't the slowest giallo I have seen. The pace can get even more slow. I can understand why this is a classic though. It is an early giallo with a lot of nudity that set the tone for a lot more to come in the early 70's.
From the giallo I have seen this would go around place 5 to 10 in my top giallo list (not counting Argento's films because most hors category what I am concerned)

Today I enjoyed, for the first time, Night of the Demon.

What a wonderful, and surprising film this is: I don't know why I hadn't seen it before, but loved every second.

I'm watching Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as I am reviewing it for my site, and have to admit I am enjoying it. It's not really a horror film though, it's a period drama with zombies.
