Heads up to any of my neighbors, Other Music in NYC is closing at the end of the month, very sad news indeed. apart from a distributor of our friends here, I've found a lot of surprising music there over the years.

its a place that helped me expand my taste a great deal. While I tend to purchase a lot of my stuff direct from the labels, outside of DW, WW, Mondo, and a few others i almost always swing by here or my own local to see what other people have put out. I'm going to have to take a walk up there tonight and try and pick up a t shirt before they close. Support your local brick and mortar when ever you can! I live north of the city, and we have ONE record store in the entire county.

I have been in this business a long time. Now if I don't want to do a show, it's not because I got stage fright. It's because some creature from beyond doesn't want me to do the show. Now gangway.
