i have both a original US and Japanese pressing of this, and i see it all the time. what a shame, would love to have Fiedel's score on wax. paid a decent amount for the CD version a while back too.

I actually want all three of these variants, I love Fright Night. one of my top movies for sure.
but it appears that the glow and pic disc is sold out already seems odd since there is no publicity?

i have a few USA orginals, japanese LP & 7", and an original test press

The Japanese pressing I got from you is solidly one my favorites pieces in the collection. I agree it's super weird that there was no chatter about this at all.

What the fuck is a Night Fever Records? Zero chatter about this anywhere. Is this a subdivision of Spacelab9 designed to give them indie cred with the kids in the streets?

Probably sold the whole batch to Hot Topic already.

Fright Night is nice. The NightFever page mentions in their ''about'' section that they deliver ''remastered audio and extensive sleeve notes in a beautiful and meticulously designed package.'' But that doesn't seem to be the case for Fright Night, at least concerning the leeve notes. So, easy pass for me, it's a record that can be found for 5$ in record stores, not sure this is worth spending a full price on a reissue, unless the colourway is of interest to people ?

All the variants now seem to be available on their site. Might go for the blue glow.

I was wondering about Night Fever myself - I heard nothing about this release and I am a vendor at horror cons! The picture disc looks nice as a display piece.

Has anyone received anything from Doxy Records? They have Seven Samurai and Throne of Blood coming out at reasonable prices, but the only real mention I have found of the label is from 2012 as a label to avoid due to sound quality issues.

Any thoughts or guidance is appreciated.

Yep, they fixed their site so I picked up all three FRight Nights. (Slowly Walks away in shame.)

I think there is some debate about whether Doxy's releases are licensed if I remember regarding Psycho?

Doxy is a grey label. European public domain stuff. Psycho was a fucking disaster. I have a couple others (blues records, I think) that are far less offensive to the ears than Psycho which sounded like it was sourced with a prehistoric telephone pickup while underwater. Perhaps there just is no decent source for the real original psycho (no idea, maybe there is and doxy just blew it harder than sasha grey).

I like WaxTime much better for grey label shit but they mostly do jazz stuff. There was a time a couple years back when I was able to get sealed WaxTime for like five bucks each. Half price books generally stocks them $10-12 apiece. I honestly have no idea if distributing grey label euro stuff stateside is kosher (it probably isn't). Probably CD sourced. But at least Waxtime's manufacturing quality is on point, I mean not one single defect in at least a hundred of their LPs that I've played, and come to think of it they're all mastered pretty well too. It is kind of ironic that a grey euro label is putting out more consistently HQ manufactured discs than just about any other label out there save the top dollars like Analogue Productions.

Anyway, that's a long way of saying I doubt doxy is paying anyone to release this stuff, and they probably aren't using master tapes. But it probably won't sound like diarrhea unless it's the Pyscho OST. But it might. Buyer beware, but buyer might be moderately satisfied with said shady euro grey market disc.
