Love that set-up @texas.

@evan, @texas, I'd seriously put A Christmas Gift For You comfortably within the top 50 albums of all time. It's perfect for what it is.

I bought the Sony repress this year due to damage on my Sundazed issue, but didn't manage to spin it. I listened to the CD a few times in the car though.

monsterworship wrote:Tim. nice. i have been hunting for this one for awhile. but can't seem to find any US sellers.
@monsterworship, I could never find a US seller either, ended up getting mine from an ebay seller in Germany. The price was right and shipping was very reasonable.

Nice of Mondo/Death Waltz to offer that free shipping option over the holidays. A must have I've been thinking about getting for a while now.

^ How very... exotic. Points awarded for creativity, wow.

Crypt Vapor sounding monstrously huge on vinyl. I was very excited to see this material being released:

Solid wax and a nice printed sleeve. Mysterious US pressing on the Death Shadow Records label. No other info provided other than the track list on the back of the sleeve. Highly recommended synth worship with some excellent thumping prog/rave mashup vibes on the standout title track Erotik Maniac. I am going to keep spreading the word on the musical creations of this man known only as The Death.

Another solid LP of synth tunes featuring remixes of Repeated Viewing material from The Three Sisters:

Umberto, Vercetti Technicolor, Antoni Moiovvi, and Night Sequels all providing tracks a bit more in the 4/4 dancefloor realm than what you might expect. The Umberto track alone is worth picking this up for.

Closing out this marathon prog/techno party for the night:

One of the early pieces of proto-techno, and now a prized possession of mine. Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming Finders Keepers LP compilation which will hopefully have both of the tracks from this incredible 45. Now almost 2:30am on the first night after I kicked all the relatives out. Night all, perhaps after one more spin...

@tim - Agreed on Under Pompelmo. I don't think you can go wrong with any of Sorgini's output. I still have not picked up LotM, but every time I listen to some tracks it goes up another notch on my want list. I should cave soon, as I really enjoyed that film back when it was released in 1992.
