Tim, that's awesome for a buck! Is the music good?

This easy tempo makes me nostalgic for the days when you could buy a double LP gatefold import for under $15.

@tim I'd buy that for a dollar ;)

This new barbarians ost is bloody awesome. Im getting a really strong electro vibe from this lp, mainly due to what Im guessing is a roland 808 drum machine slammimg the beats down. Some brilliant synth riffs too.

Deathwaltz keeping things fr.. fr.. fr.. freshh! As usual ;)

One of the best series of funk comps imo

Courtesy of jazzman records, gatefold with very extensive liner notes.

It's not bitterness, it's Weltschmerz.

Here's a hard one, Logan: Name your personal top three Moz tracks ever (incl. The Smiths)

Here's mine (at the moment):

There is a light that never goes out

Seasick yet still docked

I Know it's over

Will never marry

That's not easy VZ. I'll just stick with Moz.

The Last of the Famous International Playboys
I Have Forgiven Jesus
Margaret on the Guillotine(I still laugh every time I hear that song)

My best guess (Google translate and then editing the result into something semi-coherent) of what Macchi's liner note says:

"This LP was conceived with the intention of offering for listening, themes made with modern sounds and rhythms.

The evocative power of the language of sounds contained in the songs, makes use of timbre unpredictable so different between them, so as to make this an anthology; the idea being to stress the most authentic and most secret of human existence, projected in eternal and changing coordinates of time, of space, of destiny."

The liner note according to Google translate...it reads like a deepak chopra quote!

"The quality of music is particularly intense pieces that make up this LP seems to lead the viewer to often unexpected ways, on the threshold of a spell imbued with mystical and sensual vibrations.

It was born a soundscape disturbing and fascinating that it shatters and reconstructs incessantly in the iridescent light of a game 'vitrailles' medieval."

Deep, fat brass over military snare interspersed with quieter Macchi tension noise passages. Meticulously composed and executed. If you want the file send a pm

December must be Varese Sarabande month, got another five today. This one is for an action movie I never saw but is supposed to be decent. It's not my favorite Chattaway, but it's still pretty good
