My subscriber copies (3) just turned up this morning

A bit disappointed as none of them say on the sleeves say that they are subscriber only copies, and only room 237 says what colour the vinyl is which is orange & red which looks like the same one which is for sale on the website?

Mine did as well, at the same time as my Halloween order from Boomkat.

The AOP13 is the most impressive colourway. The NYR would make the perfect colourway for a Swamp Thing soundtrack.

Be careful with the special cover package - the layers of card in the expansion area separate quite easily.

No extras in this selection and, annoyingly, still no sign of the Steve Moore ep I ordered in early July.

Man, you guys love to whinge.

My AOP13 vanilla twist (not subber verison) arrived today - looks totally awesome! Love the super chunky new sleeve, I hope that's the standard for all future DW releases.

Great work.

Well, does this count as a winge, RA Cat?

My AOP13 vanilla twist is here. LP looks really nice.

But: booklet pages are out of order (as previously mentioned), tho frankly I can see to that myself with some careful removal of staples....

...what I can't sort out is the fact that the inside of the gatefold is printed upside down! (So you open the sleeve, and you're faced with upside down b+w stills and logo!!)

I guess I'll be asking DW if they can send me a sleeve replacement at some point...anyone else had this?

;)

@disco: Yikes, upside down!? Nah, that doesn't class a a whinge ;)

Mine doesn't have that, thankfully. Though I ordered an extra copy for a friend and haven't opened his one yet - maybe I should check it.

Is anyone else missing the 12x12 inch lithograph for the sub vinyls? I just got the vinyl, an inlay booklet, and a poster. Pretty sure none of them are lithographs, right?

Just seen raedarious' pics - mine arrived today, but my NYR sub is plain translucent green with no other colours

Does anyone know if Light in the Attic has started shipping AOP13 pre-orders yet?

My AOP13 arrived today. I got the webstore vanilla swirl edition, but it's a splatter pattern instead. Did anyone else have this?

@Rob: Yes mate, mine is a splatter pattern too. I'm guessing that's the same with every copy...

did any of you other subbers receive a lithograph?

Those of you who have received AOP13, are you in the UK or the US & ordered via DW or LITA? I emailed LITA but, so far, no response. I'm pretty excited for this release!

UKDW here.
And it's only through the medium of buggering about with my cameraphone that I saw why the colour choice for Room 237 was so ace:

It's a conspiracy! Or something.

Excuse me if this has been answered already somewhere in here but have the sub variant colors been determined already?

Any chance Death Waltz would do vinyl editions of some older horror films? More specifically the scores of Les Baxter (Black Sunday, Black Sabbath, Pit And The Pendulum, Dunwich Horror, Beast Within)or Ronald Stein (Attack Of The Crab Monsters, Spider Baby, The Terror, Attack of the 50ft Woman) or more Hammer soundtracks (Horror Of Dracula, Curse Of Frankenstein, Frankenstein And The Monster From Hell etc). Perhaps some Morricone stuff? Like Nightmare Castle, The Fifth Chord, Lizard In Woman's Skin? Unused tracks for The Thing?

Perhaps a vinyl edition of the Plan 9 From Outer Space soundtrack?

What about Cannibal Holocaust, Beyond The Door, the original Maniac, Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer.

i like all of those ideas! :)

Any and all of those would be great but I'm hoping for a reissue of The Coup De Villes' Waiting Out The Eighties...John Carpenter, Nick Castle, Tommy Lee Wallace, Alan Howarth and some incredible tunes. I've had the mp3s for a while but a Death Waltz vinyl would be a dream come true. It probably wont happen but a boy can dream.

Yes, all the sub colors have been confirmed. Here's the list of the new release variants:

Assault on Precinct 13 Sub - Vanilla with Red Mix (like the sub for Let The Right One In and Halloween 2 and 3 variants)

Assault on Precinct 13 - Vanilla with Red Swirl (more like splatter)

Assault on Precinct 13 - Solid Vanilla

New York Ripper Sub - Green with Black Mix (someone said they just got green though)

New York Ripper - Green and Yellow duck (Split? Can someone confirm?)

Room 213 Sub - Red and Green split

Room 213 - Orange and Red split (Can someone confirm?)
