I might get shot down for this on, but...
I am always on the look out for small runs of vinyl releases. I am not talking about variants per se (3000 copies, 300 in red splatter!), but rather releases for whom the total number pressed is on the low side - less than 500 seems a good figure. I guess it is because I have a visual art background, where the idea of even have 500 copies of one piece of art is often crazy - I kind of like the specific attitude, skill and nuance that goes into things that are only ever going to be in short supply. Not necessarily 'rare' - it's ok if the artist couldn't hope to sell more than 500 anyway. it's the scale that interests me.
So... anyone up for sharing any vinyl releases they know of that fit this bill - 500 or less copies in total, any genre/style/whatever?
