One of my favorites from the 4AD label. Lush only had 3 records though. This was the last one.

Cat's out the bag... breezy Italian giallo goodness mixed with passages of creeping dread to soundtrack a sunny spring afternoon here in the UK

English language notes and surrealist design printed directly on the velveteen-feel inner sleeve. Recommended.

Alessandroni + Morricone score to a 1974 Italian animated film with sound that covers a lot of ground... The Discogs listing is good evidence of this, with the genre listed as "jazz, Latin, funk/soul, pop, classical, brass & military, stage & screen, romantic, big band, easy listening, soundtrack, score, jazz-rock, Gospel" At one point Alessandroni plays the kazoo over a military march theme.

Ennio Morricone - Theoreme OST

The A side is a collection of Mozart pieces conducted by Sveshnikov and performed by the Moscow Philharmonic, and the tracks on the B side were composed by Morricone, directed by Bruno Nicolai and a few feature I Cantori Moderni Di Alessandroni.

Gotta love George with his Black Panthers uniform & disco boots on. One of the last Funkadelic records released. Much of the hard guitar of the early albums is gone on the later releases. Still good stuff!

Lalo Schifrin, cool movie photos in a nice tip-on gatefold, and Bruce Lee doing karate screams. What's not to like?
