Is it just me, or does that dripping alien egg in the middle of the poster look kinda goofy?

I can't not see it as the alien has a runny, bulbous nose!

My local UK store has displayed a Mondo Gravity in the racks for a while now at nearly £50 - for that I did wonder whether they were secretly harbouring a cloud variant.

Think there have been mutterings about UK availability from Feb under the new regime? Perhaps @TAG is the man to ask, with his new retail venture

I read this somewhere else, but the main are on this poster is clearly a square. They've added a border and a title so that it has become rectangular, but that art looks an awful lot like an LP cover.

Quick question for anyone 'in the know':
Norman Records in the UK has a raft of classic recent Mondo releases up for Feb pre-order such as pressings of Gravity and Jurassic Park at nearly £40 a pop. But DW titles are still at £20 or thereabouts.

Wasn't one of the proposed advantages of a new distribution partner for Mondo + DW in the UK that Mondo titles were going to be a tad more affordable? Or maybe that was just an assumption made on these pages?

Perhaps availability is better but otherwise the prices are the same as before the merger.

Extrapolating from that, it is still cheaper to order Mondo titles direct from the US site (roughly £32 each on a $25-$30 record) than pay £38 to £40 at UK retailers?

Not having a pop at anyone, just wondering if I'm missing something ...?

These are expensive because instead of shipping them direct from our manufaturer they have been shipped to our warehouse then shipped to the UK.
Prices should get easier going forward on new releases.

No offense because the guy is talented, but I seriously don't get all the love Stout gets for his Monday work. Every freak'n poster is basically the same montage of characters from a film, with most images something that we've seen many times before.

If we spending all this dough for a poster or record, especially for something that has been released multiple times like Alien, don't people want some new art that goes in a new direction?

I gotta give props to Jaiden because although he has a distinctive style his stuff isn't something I've already seen over and over.

Think his style works well for stuff like Big Trouble in Little China where there's a lot going on, but not so much on Alien which is a much less 'busy' film. I'm sure he'd do a great job on Aliens.
