Well I’m thinking we should do some sort of ranking system,where all the users on the forum can vote for their favorite soundtracks, which will lead to the STBC soundtrack of the Year.

My idea would be to generate a list of soundtracks to vote on.(I say as a group we nominate 64 soundtracks.) Just name some soundtracks you believe should be considered. The more, the better. I’ll sticky this thread until the end of the week, or until we get the amount of nominations we need.

NOTE: To avoid everyone listing the same soundtracks in every comment in this thread, please read through the other comments' nominations, before posting your own nominations, so that you can omit any albums from your list that have already been nominated.

After we have the nominations we can start voting rounds.

Tomorrow at work, I'll spend a little time and make an offical bracket on Excel.

I presume you mean only things that have come out on vinyl this year? (So no Interstellar, Gone Girl, Cold In July etc.)

Are we going to do different categories (best re-issue, original, best package etc.? Maybe best label, or would that run the risk of toe-stepping?

It was the Invada Solaris (Cliff Martinez) I was highlighting - pretty sure that was this year (certainly bought it then!)

Ditto Last House on Left - picked up Picture Disk for RSD 2014. But if any fall outside this year of course leave 'em out.
