Yo Vinyl buddies, you UK folks had better get ready on friday we have a surprise for you all that we can only sell in the UK and Europe and is LTD to 500 only. It's not on DW but we have an exclusive colourway and I am stoked as it's something I was chasing but ultimately didn't get.

At the risk of sounding like the bad guy...this UK-exclusive business seriously works the nerves of people like me who try to collect anything and everything Death Waltz. Sorta punishes a good number of your faithful customers. I only say this because I think you guys are great and I want to continue giving you my money and support. Thanks!

@matowest: Licensing restrictions aren't up to Death Waltz. They're decided by the owner of the rights. I'm sure these UK-only things are only like that because that's all DW could secure, rights wise. It's better than nothing.

From the sound of the original post it isn't actually a DW release, they are just who it can be purchased through. My hope is that whatever the release is, it will be available to us here in the US through another distributor.

@matowest: Yeah man, I sympathise with you - I'd probably be the same! At least DW are making an effort to give people a heads-up and the chance to secure a vinyl buddy.

@tim28212: Yeah, but the rights issues are the same. It's not an exclusive release, just an exclusive colourway, so there'll no doubt be other versions available across the pond.

Think someone already mentioned it could be the Evil Dead remake. I think that's a good shout.
