The list is heavily biased towards synth based movie scores. (And 90% recent releases)
Not including Jaws (One of the most famous horror soundtracks of all time, and one of a handful of themes most people actually know), Bride of Frankenstein, the Mummy and countless of other fantastic, original ,highly influential orchestral works while listing dozens of obscure, often derivative Italian horror scores is just silly.
Putting the score to ANY Italian zombie movie score above Bernard Herrmann's iconic Psycho (that other horror theme even regular folks know) is pure blasphemy.
Seriously, I love to watch a Steven Seagal movie every now and then, and I don't care much for classic movies, but if I had to make A list of greatest movies ever I wouldn't think of putting "Under siege" above Citizen Kane , no matter how much I enjoy the former and dislike the latter personally.
