I’m curious if this will be an all analog production (if the original wasn’t recorded digitally) with remastering or just a straight re release from some (hopefully, at the very least) hi red digital files. It’s DWRC so of course the package(s) will be sweet, but how will it sound?
I'm no 'audio technician' but I did come across this discussion regarding Twin Peaks analog/digital etc. Maybe it gives a few pointers, but all guess work until we get more official news.

Season1 TV soundtrack shows AAD on the reverse of the product.
AAD – Analog tape recorder used during initial recording, analog tape recorder used during mixing, digital mastering.
wiki...
"As digital tape recorders only became widely available in the late 1970s, almost all recordings prior to this date that appear on CD will be AAD or ADD—having been digitally remastered. This means that the original analog master tape has been converted (transcribed) to digital. It does not always imply that there has been any additional editing or mixing, although this may have taken place."
Lynch is a stickler for sound & image...I'd be surprised if these were not top notch releases in the 'audio sense'.
