Did LITA jump the gun with the Fog Gold Version up on their site? I saw someone posting a pic of it for sale up on their site (now gone), but I thought it wasn't supposed to go on sale until Aug 9. Just want to make sure I didn't miss out already.

@dumaisaudio - They put it up for sale, and I guess already sold out. I've already paid them for mine and it's sitting in my open orders, so that's how I know that it did go up for sale.

The DW post on facebook says "online 9/8 @LITA" so they sold out before they're to be sold online?

I can't think of another record that went through two pressings & I didn't get to even TRY to order before selling out!

pretty sure LITA mistakenly put it up for a short time, then took it back down. i bet it'll be back up on the date mentioned by spencer.

The confirmed stuff - all mentioned in DW newsletters, twitter comments from spencer and interviews with spencer

The previously confirmed stuff - all in the first few DW news items on their website, but not mentioned for so long that you have to assume they may no longer be happening

The rumoured stuff - subtle hints from spencer on Twitter, facebook, instagram. Someone mentioned they saw an advance listings sheet which had The Raid on it. Someone on this forum added House of the Devil. The only one I've not seen mentioned myself is Hellraiser, but again mentioned by someone on a different forum.

yeah, The Raid was mentioned in a DW ad in the LITA spring/summer catalog that they send with all of their shipments.

I have been thinking exactly the same thing. I've been dithering over buying Let the Right One In for ages, but have kinda guessed that the ones being sold now through the DW site don't come with the litho (even though it says it does) and that the white version isn't actually limited to 200. Any ideas?

My guess is that DW has been repressing these and keeping them in stock, but just forgetting to update the website.

I bought LTROI the other day from DW - I'll look tonight to see if it came with litho. It is pure white - the original pressing had red splatters, I think - so it is just a new pressing. All the same - it is an amazing record and one of my favourite DW releases to date.

Yeah, no doubt an amazing release. The original pressing was pure white - it was the subscriber one that had red splatters. Just wondering how the white one can really be limited to 200, that's all

That may be a long shot, but we'll see. They don't charge your card until it ships, so no harm in pre-ordering in case you can't get it from anywhere else.

Glad to see I'm not the only one confused by LITA selling the Fog early. Hopefully everyone can grab a copy this time!

LITA had pressing at 1000 for gold FOG in their listing. 300 of those for US consumption. I think that's what I read when I ordered it.

Man, the subscription is cool but am I the only one who thinks it's a bit too pricey this time around? I mean, with UK shipping, the sub works out at around £32.00 per record...

Well, it's not cheap... I pay £34 per record (EU shipping). But I want those (fairly) limited records and I'm curious to see what kind of extras will be offered. But first and foremost I want to support the label.

I certainly hope, however, that people haven't bought a sub because they expect it to fetch big eBay bucks later on. 300 is really not that limited (compared to 100/200 for the first two subs) and the initial price is higher this time around.
