that's an awesome haul, I've been after cheap copies of Tentacles and The Great Alligator for ages and they are always close to $50 or more
Well, they were not cheap but they are in excellent condition and I did not have to import them. I'm good with supporting the local shop.

Outside of Salo I don't know any of these. Although two Quartet Morricone scores I have an idea of what I'd be getting. I haven't bought a new Morricone in almost a year, feels weird after years of just adding scores non stop to the collection from him

The album with the guy with the fine beard is this: https://www.discogs.com/release/3700453 ... -1967-1986. He's a composer (both classical and film) from Uzbekistan. It's a great mix of classical, folk instrumentation, and electronics.

Bez, the album to the right -- is that from the Purge.xxx label?

Yes. It is https://www.soundohm.com/product/prisoner-of-love

And whenever Quartet Records releases something Morricone I am buying it.

This one was quite difficult to track down this year. It turned out quite lovely and has the bonus tracks from the CD release. Excellent work as always @RedGoblin

Did I just dream that you had an original of this @deaf? I feel like at the least your mention of it here was first time it went onto my radar 👀

Also appreciate the bonus tracks - it’s kinda nice when a reissue of something wildly scarce/pricey isn’t exactly a one-to-one repress, making it it’s own thing. Don’t know what part of my specific OCD that’s feeding ;-)

where did you end up getting a copy from? Only place I could find to order it was Rough Trade and even then it took quite a few days for their stock to even show up on their site. My copy hasn't shipped yet though so I won't have it for a few weeks I assume

@ScoJo - I do have an OG copy on Cinevox. I am a completist though and was down for a backup copy with the extra tracks. I have to give @RedGoblin some well-deserved praise for the insert and liner notes as well. This is one I could not pass up.

@inksb - I ordered a copy from that Greek lpcdreissue import shop on eBay. Price was fair at $40 but shipping was higher. It was difficult to find anywhere and I'm not sure if any other US shops were able to get this one.

I saw that one too but the shipping price made me wait to see if I could find from a shop in EU for cheaper

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Picked up Rendez Vous, the Nicolai compilation, and the Grand Duel. Scare Flair threw in the Furies and the Battery for free.
Unfortunately, my receiver just died so it will be a min until I can listen to them
