TV Facebook update:

- ROTLD2 is in the approvals phase so we should have them in hand in July. Preorder will only go up when they're actually in hand.
- We have 12+ new LP titles after ROTLD2 in motion. Trying to figure out a game plan to release them all.
- We have north of 20 cassettes on deck. Trying to figure out a game plan to release them. Only so much time and manufacturing $$ to go around so we’ll see. Some REALLY cool stuff in that next batch.

Good news. Although their music side of the business has been pretty minimal the last 12 months

they've put out a lot of releases over the past few years or so. I purchased both cassette subscriptions and couldn't believe how many releases I received over a two-year period seems like most of the soundtrack labels are having a tough time selling vinyl and you're seeing more sales than ever before. One of my favorite labels for sure and I've never received a bad pressing from them.

Just now renewed my record subscription. I have been part of that Record Club since day one and have all the releases.
TV pressing quality indeed is top notch.
I am going to resub for the cassette club as well, but contemplating doing that now or next month. Need to spread my spending a bit more.

And vinyl sales being slow counts for everyone I guess. When I see a single LP from waxwork costing $40 without shipping and added customs or taxes I find it very hard to justify. And the amount of sales from companies the past couple of months makes me want to wait till records go on sale next time. They should do fewer sales and lower prices during regular drops.
I don't know.
I hadn't bought a record from Mondo/DWRC since 2021 and with that last sale I bought dozens. Oh well. First world problems.

But in the end it is sad to see companies go under. So I hope TV will be able to carry on with records.

Well for all the complaining ROTLD2 seems to be selling pretty well for them. They released 1000 copies of the limited edition and according to their post this morning they only have 403 copies left. I feel like moving 600 copies of a shit movies soundtrack in under 2 weeks is pretty good

From Ryan in response to the silence around new TV releases on LP and tape:
Quiet before the storm. There’s now 42 cassettes in manufacturing (not kidding) and we’re up to 16 LPs in manufacturing. Definitely the most we’ve ever had in manufacturing at one time. Main reason why the drought? People weren’t buying anything. Luckily things finally seem to be balancing a bit again

We are at a year mark since I signed back up for my TV sub and it's only been half fulfilled lol. Quite a difference to previous sub where it was fulfilled with in 7 months.

I'm happy as long as they keep releasing records. Even if the pace has slowed. :) Hopefully this upswing in production means sales are picking up!

Still waiting on my test pressings. Feel like I'm never getting them. One is a year late

13 months after my initial subscription from TV finished I have received my test press, they even sent me my other test press from the next subscription. I received my package for RotLD2 yesterday and was excited to see what test presses I got, to my complete dismay I got There's Nothing Out There disc 1 for my first sub and I got There's Nothing Out There disc 2 for my second sub. I am not a fan of splitting up a releases TP and claiming that each disc fulfills this. This should only count as one lol. Getting the test press to the only other release from them this year is a whole different level of disappointment

But hey at least I got the items I ordered 6 months ago through the warehouse and RotLD2 package is quite nice. I'm excited to give a listen this week even if the lenticular cover is a touch disorienting to look at

I love the TV crew, but it's a bit weak to split up the 2LP test pressings like that. Reminds me I have 1/2 of one of the release test pressings that I'm just going to pass along to somebody who is likely equally unhappy with the other half.

I just don't get what they are doing with the record label, we got what 2 records last year? They have been saying for 2 years now they have over 15 in production yet barely any of that has surfaced. I'm glad to finally get another release but I wish we got a little more from them. I know records don't sell like they used to and Ryan continually says sales are in the shitter but also people tend to forget you release records if you don't put them out.

Anyone here order the Slashers record last year? It was part of some sale through email and then it was taken down, they never announced anything. In the description it made it sound like they were doing it similar to Copperhead, made to order but then it was never put up for order outside of that brief period

I asked on the TV discord and Brad Henderson said there is zero news about that. He will remind Ryan about it so they can decide what to do.
