New temporary setup upstairs. Still work in progress. But finally able to play some records.
But this picture disc has a lot of surface noise you can hear in the quieter parts. Not sure if it is the disc itself, or the fact it is stored in a PVC sleeve used for most picture discs... Should swap it out I think.
Anyways. Great score!

Funny enough that particular pic disc is one of the best ones I own, my copy has pretty minimal surface noise. I did throw out the pvc sleeve though when I got it and just threw it in a regular sleeve.

Toss those PVC sleeves. I found two more while going through my shelves recently. One had some bad discoloration and I'm not thrilled as it was a very rare 10". I can't believe that record labels still use these things.

Yes, I am throwing that PVC away.
I know picture discs tend to be a bit more noisy, but I cannot remember that one having so much surface noise.
