My OG MCA Manhunter got a bit too crackling over the years (it was a rather weak VG+ to start with that I obtained at the time ), so I already decided some time ago to get a new one. Nice to have the expanded version on vinyl as I still prefer vinyl over digital + I got a NM copy without any surface noise (checked with the seller beforehand).

Think it‘s also soon time for a rewatch, been a while as well.

Love that score. Such a shame Waxwork went with that awful commissioned art. The original posters are so good. Luckily for us Terror Vision at least has put out the cassette with the proper art.

@ink, I think it was around $50 - $55 and then shipping was another $20 - $25 on top of that.

Thanks, I thought it was around there. I have found a copy for $80 that I might grab and I just wanted to make sure it wasn't substantially higher than what it was direct from Quartet.

I don't have another version to compare this to but I will say it sounds really good. Really nice soundstage, instruments are clear and it's a dead quiet pressing. I love the jacket design and a worthy gatefold.

Inksb I have a few nice versions of this but the praise you give the pressing quality pushed me to grab a copy. Also I remember how great my dead and buried pressing from them is.
Anybody have the house by the cemetery pressing from ship to shore?

I have that House by the Cemetery reissue but mine is the variant sold by Terror Vision. I thought the pressing was pretty good, been meaning to revisit it, maybe I'll give it a spin tomorrow and let you know if there are any issues I notice.
