Indeed, and he puts in a great one here again. I will have to listen to Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla again (queued up) to see if it’s my favorite of his over Ebirah, Horror of the Deep in the Godzilla catalog. The composers getting an opportunity to score these rather than Ifukube seem to stand out a bit more with some funk/rock elements of the era.

Currently listening to Jonsi's Without Remorse OST 2-LPs. However, I can't post a photo. When I go into Full Editor mode, the text box gets really small and I can't type in it. I also can't create a new topic in the STBC issues forum because of the same reason. I'm hoping that this post will work and folks can report if they've having the same issue that I'm having.

This time I remembered to play this at 45 rpm

I have resorted to (I think?) the @static method, where I put a little sticker on the poly sleeves of records that play at 45rpm so I don't have to actually remember any more lol. The problem is that there are plenty of 45rpm records in my collection that have not had stickers applied because it's been a while since I listened to them.

I was just thinking about this.
I guess the new Taylor Swift album is pressed at 45rpm, and people are returning them as defective and leaving 1 star reviews on Target's website because it sounds like a man is singing (when played at 33rpm of course).
To be fair, it sounds like it isn't labeled as 45 anywhere.

Riichiro Manabe - Godzilla vs. Hedorah (aka Godzilla vs The Smog Monster) [Waxwork WW111]

I will give in to my dark side here and say that this this vinyl looks cool and matches the pollution kaijū theme well. All of these color vinyl in the box set are on somewhat translucent wax and the pressings sound great to me.

Hi JM, I do have that Cheddar Brothers pressing. It’s a 45rpm 12” and not as extensive as the Waxwork edition which includes entire OST score as compiled from this Futureland album but without the karaoke and 45 single tracks. The Cheddar Bros 12” does have the English version of the Keiko Mari vocal track included as a bonus at the end which is neat. Copies seem to be scarce though. As a completist, I prefer the Waxwork edition with the additional cues but either one is great as this is probably in the top three of the entire set.

@deaf I love seeing those WW Godzilla scores. Godzilla Vs Gigan I randomly had on VHS and watched repeatedly, even if it's not really that great 😅
