Such a cool movie, it reminds me somewhat of Dagon - that would be an intense double bill!
Yes I seem to remember the score was good… by some mysterious composer.

I love New Nightmare. It's been a few years since my last rewatch. Maybe I'll begin my Scream series rewatch with that since it's clearly a rough pass at the Scream formula.

I love this movie.

I just recently gave this a view a few months ago after not seeing it since it's original release. It was much better then I remember. Cool to see Wes in it...it felt very polished of the elm films

I actually have not seen the first one. But I needed some titles to fill my 1994 horror hole. And this one was really fun. For me the right amount of camp. Silly at times but not too much that it is annoying. Some great effects and make up. Excellent lipstick action :-) A lot of what the fuck moments. The movie felt like the people had a blast making it.

I would say it hasn’t aged a bit, in the sense that it is every bit as coo-coo bananas as it has always been. I love it. But it’s definitely not ‘a film’. I don’t really know exactly what it is… but it’s not that!

Haha The Cell. One of the first DVD's I bought and imported from the US in 2000 or 2001. I still have it somewhere. I'll revisit it in 6 years! Tonight I am probably done with 1994. And it has been a better year than anticipated.
Just now finished:

No idea why I never new about this one. My 16 year old self would have loved everything about that one. Very enjoyable. The first 30 minutes I really loved and the rest of it I liked. The ending made me smile.
Thanks for the tip @ScoJo.

Ah, need to revisit that one. I think I rented it at least 3 times back when it came out, I‘m pretty sure it holds up. How did you like it?

Hatter it is like watching old dreams. I love a few Curtis Harrington's films (The Killing Kind, Games, What's the matter with Helen) but I would not subject my loves ones to them. Especially the newer generation folks...the pacing and subtle nature would put them to sleep. Harrington is like the gentleman of horror...as if your grandfather is telling you a horror tale.

Since we mentioned New NIghtmare I thought I share this...these are the teeth from the demon Freddy head that I sculpted for the end scene of New Nightmare. The teeth have yellowed a a lot over the last 25 or more years. I might have something from ITMOM but that would require a real search.
