Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you have plenty of spins, candy and spookiness in your day (and horror movies)

I spent some time spinning this morning after watching Halloween III when I woke up (new 4K looks fantastic btw)


I finally own a copy of this gem. It's flawless, not a single bit of static or pops here, it looks brand new and unplayed. Honestly just ecstatic to have a copy and in pristine condition. (now that I bought this, expect a reissue to be announced next month)


And because I didn't have enough of this already I put it on again

Watching H3 right now on my old Blu-ray, (any graveface fans out there would do well to check out his Halloween release for this year, a 6 minute death rock jam with a special appearance by Conal Cochran) as even though sacred bones Shipped mine out two weeks ago, Brooklyn usps decided to sit with it until Thursday so now my package is coming from them on Tuesday. Two and half weeks to travel a handful of miles. Sheesh. Guess I’ll watch the 4k next year haha.

Seeing the OG tonight on the big screen at my local Alamo though, so there’s that!

Damn fine killer wax action going on! That Dio Serpente is on my want list for a while and on OG is pretty cheap as well... And that Nicolai Dracula @inksb! I bought a copy a couple of weeks ago but it is still in Japan. OG Nicolai always feels special.
And @Deaf has some brilliant VS additions. That Martin VS cover is fantastic.
I keep postponing getting a copy of In the Earth....
@Static The Osterman Weekend... another one I have been waiting to get with an obi for a long time although I have no idea how it sounds nor did I ever see the movie.

Danny Elfman - Darkman

So I'm actually not an Elfman fan, I find most of his work just feels like his previous work and while I enjoy stuff like Pee Wee and Batman I can't say I enjoy a whole lot of his stuff post Bat's. I bought this score on ebay kind of during a spite bid because I had been outbid on 3 records back to back and just said fuck this I'm buying this stupid score lol. Bad way to go about things but I was extra annoyed. Turns out I really enjoy this score. So not a bad purchase at all. I really need to revisit this film though.
