This is, I think the Beat og, they were part of a collector's series, and some are numbered. There are also copies with a blue border rather than black.

But I think the true og is on another label can't remember which, and has a picture sleeve.
I have a Beat pressing with a blue-bordered sleeve. I believe all the Beat collector's series releases are numbered on the vinyl label with hand stamps. The OG is a '68 pressing on Parade as with other Morricone western scores: https://www.discogs.com/Ennio-Morricone ... se/8319396

ps - @Dollar - Gokumon-to sounds excellent, thank you.
Il Grande Silenzio is still missing from my collection because I wanted to get one of those Beat re-issues in stead of a recent one.
I see there appear to be three Beat versions from the same year with 3 different covers.
Next year!

@bez my guess is they all came out at the same time, maybe the black border was a 2nd print run? I can't remember what number mine is. I believe they all sound excellent.

Spin from yesterday

Vient d'arriver de France - unofficial split LP of two killer Gainsbourg/Vannier 60s soundtracks. Very lo-fi (from VHS source is my guess, as that's the only place I could source my own rips from!) with dialogue and sound effects, but damn this music is worth it! Chemins du Katmandou got it's own official release via Finders Keepers of course, but this was worth it for Paris n'Existe Pas which is delightful, and quite long (20+ mins of music).

Top marks for the sleeve work too, tous tres jolie 'booty' bâtards :)

That looks amazing! And it makes me want to watch the movie. I don’t think I have ever seen it.

I haven't watched it in quite a few years but I really enjoy the film. I should revisit it and see if it holds up. It was the film he did right after Masters of the Universe. Directed by Joesph Zito who did a few Chuck Norris flicks, The Prowler and the best Friday the 14th (part 4!)
