Mileage may vary, but they seem to have heard some of the criticisms of the first season, scene the main title music has been adjusted accordingly. It may not quite be there yet, but it’s a step in the right direction I think.

Yeah, i liked it despite agreeing completely with this. so far this season felt slightly closer to the mark.

I know Joe Lynch has a segment this season and I'm excited for that. I don't know much else about who is involved this season but I'm curious to see who is.

For those that care about such things as Argento in 4K, Arrow is releasing The Bird with the Crystal Plumage. I have their fancy bluray boxset from a few years ago, not sure I'll upgrade here. It's a really nice looking set though

I'm having the same debate, i have their blu box sets from a few years back and they are such nice packages and look great already so i'm not sure if i'm going to upgrade. i don't watch them nearly enough to go full bore on this, but i'm also convincing myself to prioritize right now.

Also that art mockup is different from what i've seen on bluray.com, i like this better

Edit: i see this is the more limited art edition....i can't do this again lol

Yeah I'm being way more selective my upgrades to 4K, unless they are cheap. For something like this where I would need to spend $40+ I just can't justify it. I have only watched Bird once since getting that bluray and don't think it's worth it. I still haven't bought Suspiria in 4K and I watch that every year.

oh you mean the suspiria 4k disc that came out like ten minutes after the bluray remaster? that one? yeah i got that immediately but i was so annoyed by how short the space between those releases were that i've been super careful since then. but to echo your point, i watch suspiria a lot and its a film whose visual appeal is largely the point so 4k was a no brainer. Bird i watch once every few years and is there more as a completist thing. i'm more inclined to get a 4k of something i don't have yet or an upgrade to a film i watch frequently.

CY rules. I remember fanning out a bit on the Sinister score (maybe off air), still a big favourite of mine. And again - EMPTY MAN has a lot to recommend y'all, but most especially a killer score by Young and Lustmord.

I’m sure I’ve said this before but his original UK Quad art for Evil Dead 2 is my favorite piece of horror related art period. I went out of my way to get the UK soundtrack pressing rather than the varese simply because of it. I almost got my hands in an original of the poster but it was too rich for my budget at the time.
