They also have Transformers the Movie by DiCola. It was $29.99 but recently it jumped up to $39.99. Fingers crossed it drops again.

Surely this time there is no escape?

Major flick of my youth, just finally picked this up myself. Great work from Kamen. The grim reaper clock was an image that stayed with me for a very long time and was an early indicator of the sort of imagery I’d gravitate towards.

Also Pryce’s bit about Sting and the demoralization of average people kills me

I adore it so, so much. The scene where little Sally has to badger the Baron into not dying, because she cares about his stories..... hoo boy, gets 'dusty in here' for me every time.

TLV two newest releases, they may be 6 months late but they are fine releases. 3x3 Eyes is the real gem of the two but both are excellent. I listened to both of them 3-4 times each this weekend. Unfortunately my Devilman has a dimple in the starting grooves that makes an awful racket when the needle passes over it. I just need to remember to start the record on the actual track and not the lead in grooves. Love the prints from Holy Mountain Printing, in particular the Devilman one is very strong.

Listened to both of these tonight, my newest arrivals. The her pressing isn't great (warped, not so quiet), but still happy to have it. Availability of Ghost Dog seems a bit patchy too. One of my best double purchases in a while.

The consecutive posts of The Shining and Incidental DotD makes me sick with envy!

Well, I guess I know what I’m watching tonight. Maybe a time bandits double feature so I can really lament the loss of imagination in the world

There aren’t enough John Neville performances in this world. I’m sure you’ve seen Study in Terror but if you haven’t, run don’t walk, sometimes I imagine a universe where he did a whole series of Sherlock Holmes movies, he may be my favorite Holmes and that’s a tough call.

Very much agree although just inched out for me by Robert Stephens in my fave Holmes movie, The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes. Oh what I wouldn't give for the full planned version of that one 😍

Oh man, yeah that’s a good call there. Wilder’s incomplete masterpiece for sure. I think the advantage is also in quality of film. Study in terror is a mean little slice of faux hammer penny dreadful fun and I love it, but Private Life is in another league. Also that theme. Phew. I wish those other sequences existed in more complete forms, the upside room bit is awesome.
