Interesting -- Varese announced the 2-CD version of this score release this past weekend, and the CDs will have 16 more tracks than the LPs will.

It looks to be essentially just disc 1 of the CD (Film Score) + 1 additional song. It won't have disc 2 which is the 1995 original soundtrack and the film score bonus tracks.

I just had a similar experience with them. Made a large order months ago and never heard anything.
Finally sent them an email, and it shipped a few hours later.

I have no clue, I have two friends who have been having issues with them as well. Their customer service has always sucked and seems even worse this year. One of my friends pre-ordered the green variant of Hiroshi Yoshimura album Green. Release date came and went, tons of people received their copies and the pre-order on their site went to "back ordered" til August, next batch got shipped out, he still didn't get it and then the "backorder" went back up with a September date. He's contacted them 3 or 4 times and all of his emails go ignored. I feel bad that shit sucks.

I just emailed them ( a third time). I hate to be "that guy" but I might have to file a PayPal dispute if they don't get back to me. I get COVID has cut customer service. But it's been over a month since I last contacted them, with no response.

That's absolutely wild news, lads, and I'm sorry to hear it. In the last decade plus, I've received pretty snappy responses from them both via email and Twitter DM. It's definitely a small operation on the distro side, but they've always done me right.

I've had plenty of good experiences in the past, so that's why I'm bummed about this. It's a 250 dollar sale so it's not like I'm nitpicking over small potatoes. And it's one of those "if you can't fulfill the first box set, the second is useless to me" kind of things

Hey, I don't care if it's a $3 key fob, if you're being treated inappropriately, that isn't cool. And I'm in no way saying anyone here is nitpicking. I'm just stunned to hear of so many first and second hand issues as i haven't experienced any myself and I use them often. I know they've experienced a bunch of COVID-related pressing delays, but it doesn't sound like that is germane to any of the issues herein.
