I think I have played every score I own of giallo movies I have seen. The next batch I haven't seen yet... And there are some very well known ones in there. Need to catch up :-)

This film is great Bez, I think you would dig it a lot. Highly atmospheric. Barilli's other big film, Perfume of the Lady in Black, is absolutely one of my favourite Italian crime/horror thrillers. I once projected Pensione Paura at a festival, with the director in attendance. He was quite old, but quite mysterious. I recall him saying quite a few things that weren't exactly 'feminist' haha. He showed a new short film he had made - it was pretty bad, low quality digital-shot with loads of very cheap CGI (if I recall).

Speaking of Perfume..., that incredible OST really deserves so much better than that shitty DW disco-bag-with 'We Buy Your Kids' rubbish print inside. I should follow Static's lead and made my own sleeve for that one, offer up to others who were offended by the above offering ;) I'm gonna have to spin Pensione Paura now thanks :)

I have a DVD copy of Pensione Paura. I will try and watch that soon. I assume there is no BluRay version of it.
Perfume I also have not yet seen. And I don't own that DW wax. I do like some of the work from WBYK. But if you ever make a sleeve I definitely want a copy.

I do have this:

As my main focus was gialli from the sixties and seventies there are a lot from the eighties I still haven't seen.
This is one of them (and according to the iMDB score not a good one :-) )
Sergio Martino's 1982 Assassinio al cimitero etrusco a.k.a. Scorpion with Two Tails

Great score by Fabio Frizzi though. And this picture disc does not sound bad at all.

I love that soundtrack. I heard Goblin was planning on touring with this one after the past years Deep Red Tour. I'm sure Coronavirus killed that.

And I'm sure everyone already knew, but the group Genesis used the theme and remixed it for songs.

An excellent score and probably the best sounding picture disc I own. It's a little on the quiet side but I'll take that over surface noise and pops/clicks.
