There‘s always Sven Libaek to brighten up the day. I especially enjoy listening to his music during these crazy times.

Boney is lesser known I think and while not among his Top 3 albums I would probably still rate it as Top 5 material.

I've needed Boney for a long time, but og was always a little pricey- is this a reissue? Hope so!

ooo, I don’t know Boney but I’ve liked all of his other stuff.

Jedi has only ever had a single LP, and both the original Star Wars and Empire have never been expanded on vinyl past their original releases (which are not complete and not in film order at all).
I have no idea why. You would think that’s pretty easy money.

Well... the film is warped too, so...

It's the German Pressing from 1972, there is no reissue that I am aware of. I read somewhere that the German pressing sounds better than the OG Australian - not sure if this is true but being in Germany I got this as it is also less expensive than the Australian version (not cheap but not crazy expensive like other Libaek OGs).

Nice, thanks Chris - yes I spotted the German pressing on The Cogs, it doesn't say that it's from '72 though, presumed it was more recent. I have a copy in Germany carted, not too crazy a price. But it'll have to wait until daddy has some work rolling in again... :)

Just finished spinning this, always a welcome spin

And now onto Silent Hill 2. I bought just the LPs off of discogs for $16 last year, no jacket. I plan on designing and painting a jacket at some point. Right now it's just in a blank white jacket until I get around to it. Really nice looking wax though (does have some surface noise).

I’m impressed how wide range of music Daniel Pemberton can create.
My first purchase during this Corona crisis and just loving it.
Thanks Lakeshore for putting out this vinyl only -release.

Steve Powder wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2020 3:20 pm Omg @Chris ! I so want some of Libaek's original presses. They are stupidly rare though, all these soundtrack and library original presses are stupidly rare :(
Yeah, Steve - most of the Libaek OGs are really expensive - but thankfully there are very solid rereleases of Inner Space, The Set, Solar Flares, White Horse, Music of SL, and Nature Walkabout. As mentioned Boney (and Nickel Queen - need to find that one) don't have rerelases, and at least Boney is not too hard to track down and can still be afforded (a German or even Australian OG can still be found for around €40 - 50).

i also picked this one up and it led me to watch the show. despite the involvement of will smith it's actually pretty great with some cool visuals.
