Incident in a Ghostland is in my to-watch queue @Bez. It's meant to be as 'full on' relentless in it's brutality as Martyrs, had mixed reviews. And yes, Martyrs really is as punishing as it's reputation, but it's by no means mindless torture porn. It has an emotional journey, and for better or worse, actually aims to have something to say about those that survive extreme acts etc.
I personally 'enjoyed' it for the most part, though confess it's not something that thrilled me (I do prefer my ultra-violence to be more on the silly/fantastical side...and generally avoid the new-wave of 'feel bad' shock cinema coming out of Europe.)
The music is, however, quite excellent. I distinctly recall noticing it during the film. Both emotional and rich, and with some propulsive electronica if I remember right. I'll be picking this up for sure.
