the only release that i have from this label. some really great tunes on there. apart from two lame cuts this record is quite solid. the best tunes from this record appear on a Regency Line release with some strip club tunes in addition. damn! i want than one...

I Marc evening spin. Really like this one. # 1007, one of only a couple I have with the 1st press color sleeve. Somehow I always end up with the 2nd press brown covers on these.

@Texas: still miss two Nelsons with the thick 1st press sleeve to eliminate the shit-coloured ones completely. almost cried when i missed one a few weeks ago that went for 100 €. damn! i was so close...

I sold two of mine earlier in the year the green and the pink one :P

They are great libraries though, but like typical library usually a mixed bag of bangers and not so bangers ;)

I heard the immediate 2nd press that came in thick laminated card but in that brown are actually from the same run as the first press.

Is the first press supposed to be brown? Haha then I had three of the first presses, I always thought the first press of that had a different colour.

That one the first press is heavy tip on sleeve, "second press" is the standard brown sleeve. Although I do agree with the idea that these are all the same stamper just a second batch of covers.

i have cleaned up the discogs listings a few months ago, adding the first and second pressings. you can clearly see the colours and read about the finish of the sleeve in the notes or each release. somebody had to do this, haha!

2001 and 2002 did not come with different sleeves i think. these two are great!

last big unsolved mystery with this series: why in the hell did they chose the shit colour for the second run and 2001 and 2002? i mean, there were 9 other nice colours to choose from...

digging some classy disco-type stuff recently. any good recommendations on that genre?

this Jacky Giordano (under his José Pharos pseudonym) is way too sweet! quite in demand for different collector reasons. for me the best Musax and possibly the last great masterpiece made by mr. Giordano. this record is straigt fire. fresh and classy cosmic and disco compositions in a laid-back easy way.

it looks like this one is going to be reissued in 2019 (there is a discogs entry already) and it's about time...

you are so right! only a look at the cover is too funny actually. you can read 'fire barn' on the sign of the wooden cottage in big capital letters. but as if this wasn't enough they put 'fire barn' in even bigger letters right above the picture. like they were expecting the potential users of the record being short-sighted of just dumb. correct me if i'm wrong but shouldn't the big red letters say 'Spitfire Debs' instead? just another case of italian library insanity/mystery...

Wow it's great! Library is so digged through it seems, those masterpieces always seem to be 100+ or 300+ euros. I might be getting that reissue just based on the first listen
