Nice spins and that Ghosts of Mars cover looks cool! Have not seen that Carpenter film so not sure about the soundtrack.

Now for some other outer space sounds

Oh it's a great 'guilty' pleasure film for sure- good fun if you're in the right frame of mind! Carpenter's final remake of Rio Bravo...with Statham ;)

The score is a banger though, and easily my favourite of Horror Master's 90s work, super excited to have this on wax soon. Unless @static snagged the one and only copy that Varese pressed!

"last remake of Rio Bravo" awesome description. i try to picture it with snake and realize what could have been :)

Also i missed the "90's" qualifier in that last bit for a moment and almost had a stroke.

Edit:

For the record (yer honour): IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS is my fave late-period/90s Carpenter score, and GoM was actually 2001, so....I'll say it's my favourite 2000s JC score. *

* Well....It was actually his last film score, so heh heh :)
