Funny lifeforce story I may have told on here already, around last year or so when that Tom cruise mummy reboot was coming out I decided to watch the Fraser version again, fun flick that still holds up in a lot of ways, when suddenly I realize that the desiccated corpses that Imhotep leaves behind him are literally the same props from lifeforce, amazing that they didn’t decay at all....I’m sorry

I got one of the last normal priced ones. They're OOP and all the retail stock dried up, so theyve been going for 500-700 lately. If you find a cheap one I'd definitely recommend, these mono pressings look and sound excellent. Sgt pepper is the best version I've heard.

Looking forward to the new Lord of the rings set. Saw Return of the King pre-orders opened.

I've got a bit of hype for the new Twilight Zone serie being developped by Jordan Peele. I'm eyeing the blu ray boxset for both the original serie, and the one for The Outer Limits. as soon as my wallet can catch a break, I'll buy them. Anyway, Jordan Peele seems like a good fit for a new iteration of the serie. Get Out feels very much like it could be a Twilight Zone episode ( it's also very similar to the Stepford Wives, I think).

These LOTR box sets are really damn nice and well worth the $$. So happy with the mastering and pressing job, extremely dynamic. You crank the quiet parts up and then get blown away by the huge moments :)

I got the first one from Best Buy online, and they sent it in a very well packaged mailer. Amazon threw this one into a giant box with one dinky air packet, somehow it didn't get banged up.
