I have a renewed appreciation for this album after seeing Guarini & crew absolutely kill it with a Buio Omega suite on the tour last year. I already had a recording of the main theme on vinyl, but it's great to have the full album.

Interesting variant, looks yellow with black smoke on the platter. Holding up to the light it gets a bluish hue, and there are a few glow in the dark splatters. Super cool release as usual from Terror Vision! I am glad this sold really well, I kind of wonder if it was a risky endeavor for him to do the 3LP version..

WHAAAAAATTT????

Is that the subscriber variant or the mailorder variant, Tex? I hope the triple LPs start arriving soon. I haven't heard anything but I, too, am glad they sold well. Hopefully the 3xLP did as well. I would really love to see another couple of volumes. Still holding out hope for a home invasion/killers in the night edition.

Subscription copy (if it's different from mail order? Not sure. But I do the sub). It's a tad noisy but nothing too unbearable. I think he said no plans to do anything else from the show, and the 3LP test presses were approved so not too much longer on those.

Thanks! That's great news, but a real bummer that he's not interested in doing more from the show. I remember the press blurbs or an interview where he talked about getting hundreds of DATs. I suppose I may have inferred there'd be more based on the thematic nature of this release all by myself.

I think it was just last week that Ryan posted on IG that he finally found a test pressing he liked (he rejected quite a few) so it shouldn't be too much longer for the 3LP edition to start shipping. @Mateo the 3LP set sold really well, it sold out out on his site, you can't order them anymore. He was on DFN a few weeks ago talking about the release, if I'm remembering correctly he only licensed the music for "ghost story" segments, they sent all of the music because it wasn't organized so that's why he had hundreds of hours of music to sift through on DATs. I think he said if this does really well he may be able to license more, in particular the sci-fi episodes cues would be what he's interested in doing. He also said that the the single and triple LP have sold way better than he expected.

I ordered the 3LP set so I can't wait for it.

Great stuff. Gracias. Sci-fi tunes would be cool for sure. Man, do I want a few volumes of this music. Maybe someone else will take up the mantle eventually.
