Is that animated gif done from a mobile? I still need to sort out posting images with the attachment biz.

It is. Only recently I found out that when using the live photo option in the iPhone camera app you van add effects. One is repeat. Without any other editing it created the perfect loop you see. The make a gif out of that I used the app Lively. Finally I uploaded the gif to Imgur and used the Imgur link in my post.

I rarely use the attachment option to post an image because you can only upload a file with a size of 1Mb max. Most pictures I make are larger. It is easier for me to upload to Imgur and copy the link. Works easiest from a computer, but form a mobile it works as well. Cheers @bez I got as far as making an Imgur account and then struggled with the link. I will repursue this conundrum.

The tip I can give with Imgur is that when using the link from the app on a mobile you have to put that link between and add an l before the .jpg.
From a computer you can change format Large and copy the BCC link. No need to add the that way, nor the l.

The reason behind the l is that it changes the dimensions to a large format. If you keep the original format it will we too big for STBC to post it.

Huge thanks to @millievanillieondollars for the heads up on this Komeda - it's absolutely killing it right now. Very mellow jazz/bossa vibes for the most part, some poppy rock n' roll jukebox-style cuts, and some small string orchestra cues which hint at some darker moments in the film perhaps. This is going to get thoroughly rinsed, I shoulda bought two!

So good man, can't thank you enough for the tip-off on this. In the world of crazy packaging and vinyl colours and throw-the-kitchen-sink-in deluxe/limited etc, it does feel like a breath of fresh air every now and then to get a reasonably priced lovely-but-stripped down standard LP release of an absolutely essential set of music like this! I've been rotating heavily the last few days and blissing out...

Also getting very heavy playtime is this banging 2-track RSD 12" of Froese Tangerine Dream tracks from 2015 - generally speaking, I've pretty much avoided TD output in the 2000s but this is a major mental course-correction for me, wonderful classic TD vibes all over these tracks! Especially hooked into LEVIATHAN right now, with it's mid-80s Haslinger-era vibe and full-on Froese fuzz-guitar freakout! Most highly recommended to all you discerning synth-nerds!

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a black vinyl. For the love of God!!
Been looping this all afternoon...really nice laid back vibe. Some of the quiet piano parts made me think how many wonderful themes, never created because of Komeda's untimely death. :(

I saw the Komeda album about 2 weeks ago in a record store, made a mental notice to check for some more information online later but then forgot to do so. Thanks to the discussions and praise of you fine people I now ordered it and can‘t wait to give it a good spin in the upcoming days.
