@Texas that’s a shame about the damaged copies. :( I’m guessing thats gonna lead to more than a few upset folks who preordered through them.

I really don’t think you’ll have any complaints as far as the pressing is concerned. Tons of dynamic range and really clean.

B&N now showing temp out of stock. Hoping Amazon really has my combined preorder held for me, as they are also sold out. Soundstage Direct is sold out too. Not listed on Warner Music store, and Rhino's site links to the Amazon listing. Its's already selling above retail on the 'bay. -_- ugh, fingers crossed.

When it disappeared from Amazon I first tried my local shop but ordering had closed on it and he couldn't get it. He did inquire about it from his distributor and they told him the title was oversold by 40% and they didn't expect it to become available again. When I saw it still available at Barnes and Noble I grabbed it. Mine should arrive tomorrow. I wont be sitting on the fence for the next two.

@Tim - If the release pattern follows the original expanded album box sets on CD/DVD-Audio, then these new 5LP sets will be limited runs and will not be repressed for another fifteen years. Get in while you can.

One of the reasons I dislike ordering from Amazon is that I never really know if they will fulfill a preorder. Even looking at my combined preorder right now, I can't really tell if they have it held for me or not. Anybody know how to check without contacting support? It's probably a good sign that I haven't seen the dreaded "We're still trying to obtain the following item[s] you ordered... email show up yet. Is Soundstage Direct any better at fulfilling preorders?

^ that was a strange one. It contains 4 brilliant and funky tracks. One at the beginning and end of each side. The rest is someone explaining about weapons in Japanese while hearing the sounds of those weapons (planes flying mainly)
