Static is that the blue swirl copy? I never owned the original Christine and finally caved in and purchased the blue colored mixed one a few days ago. Now I see Varese is putting out a solid red one...arrgghhh
Actually my copy sounds pretty great... a little poppy at the mixed area.

It looks solid blue to me... i dont know if there were a few variants or what. It does sound really nice though.

Edit: I just looked at discogs and there are two versions. The solid blue and a blue splatter. Mine is the solid.
