It was a grail release for me @Mateo. Pricey sure, but essential and it sounds fanatastic. I won’t be passing on Commando either! :)

It's crazy that they sold out 1,500 copies at $40/piece... that's $60k right there.

@Mateo, I share your sentiments. I really want Commando, and Predator, and had wished for a vinyl release but I simply refuse to pay that kind of price.
It's a shame as I think both these releases could bring a lot of people into the world of OST vinyl, whereas at this price point it's just pushing people out.
I'm still praying for a cheaper version on superior black vinyl sometime soon :)

Good lord, this is lovely.

Sounds deep and dynamic, runs at 45rpm. Needed a clean though, was quite 'dusty' out of the bag.

And ambivalent as I am about colour vinyl, this might just be up there with the most gorgeous wax that I own...

Now something I haven't seen anyone spin yet on STBC. I got this as a birthday gift from my girlfriends son. And he bought a copy of the Mondo Jaws release for himself :-)

That Magnolia score is beautiful by the way. The Aimee Mann songs I know well, but not the score. I see some people on Discogs complaining about noise and pops and clicks. I have no issues with my copy. I'll see what happens when I play the third disc really loud...

Okay, after cranking up to volume I understand what one might mean. There is surface noise. Some sides have more pops and clicks than other sides. Might need to clean it to see if the quality improves. That said for me it sounds fine.

Talking about Discogs comments. My next spin has its fair share :-)
