Mateo Sanboval wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 6:52 pm Cult, beautiful stuff. Third Man and The Sandlot are my faves. Francavilla is probably one of only two or three comic artists who I make sure to always buy. Lovely work. Also, congrats on a successful move during a pandemic. That's no small task. Where'd you end up?
Thanks Mateo! It was a crazy year to say the least. A move from NYC to Seattle is already kind of tough, getting my entire collection over wasn't easy or cheap lol, but somehow I managed to do it without breaking anything.

I think all those years of hauling boxes of records from TX to NY helped. Hatter313 can attest to my skills smuggling records across state lines 😅
Welcome to Cascadia, Brother Cult. I'm in Seattle twice a week for work. Once things clear up, there's a beer on me on your future.

Same art but cropped at the bottom and against black, which I prefer to the white b/g to be honest - though theyre both super cool and I wouldnt say no!

Very cool....and thanks for posting.

Hmm I think I still may prefer the white version. For me the artwork pops more and has a ghostly, other worldly vibe...like in the clouds. Kind of encompasses the key storyline of the space dimensional doorway.

But I am sure my opinion is based by the fact it is the only version I own 😈

I'm waiting to get this one framed, was so happy to find this cheap, I didn't even know it existed. LP for size comparison ;)

Thank dude! These are X-Plus figures. I have a bunch around the place so I'm sure they'll creep into my vinyl pictures every once in a while. My Toho obsession restarted a couple years back. I rebought all the movies I could find on blu ray and a few of these xplus figures. It's funny cause literally the first toy I can remember playing with was the Imperial 85 Godzilla action figure. I still have that thing lol.

I allowed myself a hall and a computer/Den to hang some posters. Mostly work related. Rest of the house has pears and apple painting so things appear normal.

Bez I think I was stalking one of your Beograms on my laptop.

Holy shit, these are some incredible pics. I want all of it :)

Those X-plus figures are not cheap but boy do they look like they are worth the price tag. I bought the Neca "Godzilla Vs Space Godzilla" figure last summer and repainted him with color shifting purple metallic paint. I'll try to get a pic of him and post that. I'd love to have some of the bigger Godzilla figures but currently just don't have the room.

If one were to come to my home, they would find at the top of the staircase this wall of Naschy posters. 2 years ago my wife and I got really into Paul Naschy films (we still love them and watch what ever we can find). Our bday's are both in April and we ended up gifting each other Naschy posters, it was quite a funny exchange. Two of them are originals from Spain (La Maldicion De La Bestia & El Retorno Del Hombre Lobo) and the other two are reproductions. I need to get nicer frames for them but the big poster is a large and odd size, I've struggled to find a good frame at a reasonable price.
I apologize for the shoddy photos, my lighting in the upstairs is less than ideal.

These posters can be found in my studio/work room. City of the Living Dead is a repro that came with the Arrow LE bluray, The Storms is from Tim Doyle and the Usagi Yojimbo is from yours truly, this is one of my favorite images of Usagi, I sketched it on a lunch break and really liked how it turned out so I inked it and framed it as I'll never own the original panel from Stan Sakai.

And here's a few shots of the Godzilla I repainted last summer. Also you can see my work in progress EVA Unit-01 kit, he's built but needs decals applied.

Haha. I was already zooming in before I read your comment as it looked so familiar :-)

Great pictures btw. I don't get why people want to leave their walls empty!

@inskb: beautiful Naschy pictures. I should finally start watching his movies...
