Very sad to hear the amazing Giger has passed away after his recent accident. His work terrified me and amazed me equally as a kid and still does now. "Genius" gets bandied around far too easily these days but Giger was the real deal. Can remember seeing the cover of Future Kill for the first time years ago in the video shop and being scared to even turn the case over, never mind hiring it. Pity the creature on the front cover doesn't even make an appearance, it's just some bloke with a similar metal mask.

R.I.P. Giger - fabulous artist that had great influence on art, music and film.
As a kid was always amazed by his work especially his book necronomicon.
