Is this just a hit play at 9EST and we're good to go kinda deal? Excited to check this out as I've not only never seen this, but hadn't even heard of it.

Same here, all new for me.

I think I have the pentagram and candles laid out correctly on my floor, so hoping now that @Mateo will be showing up here at the last minute.

That's what I planned to do

Here’s a few things about the film before we get going then…

- Shot in ‘83, released on vhs in ‘85
- Written and produced by Meg Shanks, who was then running a drama school, and her husband Alan Briggs (a succesful music promoter) who directed.
- The cast is made up of students from the drama school
- The original ‘85 release fell foul of the ‘video nasty’ hysteria in the uk, particularly since children were involved - the tabloids had a lurid field day
- Severin Films finally released it on DVD a few years ago, a different version from the original though with all violence restored and many changes throughout
- The music rocks! Lead actor Ginny Rose was co composer, she was the daughter of writer Shanks. This is her only credit

I can’t find the date, but apparently Alamo Draughthouse screened the film

If we all pause at the very start, ready to hit play on the dope remote at the top of the hour, we should be golden!

You should see an image of some kind of picnic, strafed with tracking lines. Already things are kinda spooky sinister! Who are these people? What are they doing?

I don’t really know how to correctly prep you for this. You might well hate it!

The best way I can lead you in i think is to say… get your head in a Garth Marenghi mode!
