Tidbit #1

The director had a more serious minded ambition for the film, about a mental collapse, and wanted to call it simply Jessica.

The producers wanted a horror flick, and suggested the expanded title.

Interesting... am guessing the producers thought marketing it more overtly as a horror pic would bring a bigger audience/return :)

It's a very evocative title
