The dvd extra of the making of the score is ace. JC in the studio with Anthrax and Bucket head, and you can see Joseph Bishara in there too!

I think he's good, but very functional and clean. It really suits certain flicks (In the Mouth of Madness) but for me def lacks the genius atmospheric lighting touch of Cundey.

Carpenter still knows how to compose a nice wide shot, and while Cundey is responsible for a lot of that execution, Kibbe is no slouch on the later stuff. i agree that Cundey helped carpenter realize a lot of his style better.
