Maybe this got a lot more buzz in the States and UK, so you might know it or have seen it. I watched it last weekend and can highly recommend it.
The Wolfpack is a 2015 American documentary film about a family who homeschooled and raised their seven children in the confinement of their apartment in the Lower East Side of New York City. The film, directed by Crystal Moselle, premiered on January 25, 2015 at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the U.S. Documentary Grand Jury Prize.[4][5][6][7][8] The film went on to be the Closing Night film of Maryland Film Festival 2015
It is an incredible story. The kids were not allowed to go outside for 14 years. The learned a lot from movies. When you see how they re-enact the movies with there own set pieces and costumes it leaves you a feeling of wonder. Creative and smart kids that dress up like the six from Reservoir Dogs when they do go out for the first time.
I left me with a not so nice feeling. You feel sorry for them because of the way their father formed their lives.

@Bezulsqy

This was my favourite film of last year.

Incredible story!

And those movies that they created...... :O

I maintain, to this day, that the Batman costume they made out of old cereal boxes is better than any we've seen in the movies so far! At least you can turn around in it, haha!

Love the use of that recent Black Sabbath song at a crucial moment too.

SJ also recommends highly people!
